Went to Austin w/ my friend Mel last night to see the band X @ La Zona Rosa.

They shredded, but damn are they old. Exene looked like my grandmother, she had the full on old woman bad posture. Someone should tell her to drink some milk and work out her core muscles. John Doe and Bonebrake both looked really good though. Billy Zoom is a total trip. He was grinning the entire time and winking at women in the crowd, totally hamming it up for pictures.

After being raped @ the pumps the last 2 months (to the tune of $500 each month) I decided it was time to ditch the SRT-4 and get something more economical. I also wanted something I found stylist and fun to drive. The Honda Fit “fit” the bill.

Unfortunately they’re still selling faster than dealers can get them in and usually you have to put a deposit down a month or so in advance. Last night a coworker called me @ 8ish saying he was at the Honda dealership near our office and that they had 2 Fit Sports in 5 spd on the lot w/o buyers. First thing this morning I called the dealer to make sure they still had them, they did. I drove over, did 1 more test drive and decided on the blue (I just love blue cars I guess). 5 minutes after we started filling out the paper work the other Fit Sport (it was red) sold.

returned from Austin this morning to find that some idiot decided to take the turn in front of my building too fast, lost control, went up the curb and took out a tree in my yard. I like that he left pieces of his car scattered all over the yard, including a fog lamp

We got there a little late and all the outside tables were taken. It was such a beautiful day. We found a table inside that we could view the entire patio from, as soon as I saw someone make the ‘close out’ sign I flew out the door and over the railing, pouncing on the table like a tiger! RAWR!

Had a good showing, ended up needing to take over 2 tables. Jason and Kat came out, which was a first, and Andy came for what I think is probably his last time before he goes to Iraq. I hope he stays safe.
